why did Slovenia want a minute of silence for the Eurovision song contest?

Posted on August 30th, 2009 by admin in eurovision results | 4 Comments »

When Slovenia was giving their results, Peter asked for 1 minutes silence but they didn’t give it to him. Why did he want the minute of silence? I didn’t hear it because of the commentator. I heard something like it was a hard year or something like that…. lol

Because Slovenia hadn’t made it to the finals- second year in a row.

Hilarious, I got a case of ROFL. And he was deadpanning it, great work. Cannot understand how anyone could think it was NOT funny.

Who do you vote for in Eurovision 2007?

Helsinki is the Place. 13 days to go.

I’ll go with Elena Paparizou. She’s gorgeous and the piece is quite good singing on stage.

Is it just my imagination, or did I hear fiddles and tambourines in the background?

Why does Israel participate in the Eurovision song contest?

Posted on August 30th, 2009 by admin in eurovision contest | 1 Comment »

Israel is not a country in the continent of Europe.

The requirement for participation is that a television station in the country must have joined the EBU. So, it’s down to them whether a country joins, rather than strict geography.

Which online radio broadcasts Eurovision with Graham Norton Commentary?

Posted on August 30th, 2009 by admin in eurovision | 2 Comments »

Hi all, live abroad and although we can watch the Eurovision on television, we would like to listen to Graham’s commentary. Any idea where this is possible?

Wishing you all a great evening!
